Niraj's journey into music began in 1999 when he ran his own drum and bass rave, attracting over 2,000 attendees each month for a remarkable three-year period. However, after experiencing burnout from the hedonistic lifestyle associated with being a club promoter, Niraj fell into a different path.
After 7 years of working as a community pharmacist, he experienced major disillusionment and burn-out. Suffering from an autoimmune disease, where he was housebound for a year, he received a major breakthrough when he discovered the power of ancient breathwork techniques and ancient bio-hacking secrets from traditional yoga. After curing himself from this ‘incurable’ illness within a few months, he set out on a mission to bring these powerful methods to the mainstream. He combined his passion for music and science to create evidence backed techniques that are transforming the world of holistic health.
In 2015 Niraj made internet history by creating the world's most viral infographic ‘What happens to your body after 1hr of drinking a can of coke’ on his website TheRenegadePharmacist.com. This propelled him to health influencer status with this blog as his platform for promoting his proprietary music technology and ancient/modern bio-hacking secrets.
Niraj also became a pioneer of the “Breath raves” movement, where he seamlessly combined his proprietary breathwork techniques with his own music productions. Starting off on the island of Koh Phangan, these unique events, aimed at giving people a more healthy way to have fun, and now hosted at prestigious club venues on the iconic island of Ibiza where he resides, offered attendees an opportunity to achieve an exhilarating high through their own breath.
